Default New Assassin's skills Idea

I was coming back from college and these ideas just came to my mind and I just gotta share it, so here we go:

Critical Fangs: ELITE Dual dagger Attack. Must follow an off-hand attack. Strike target foe for +15...27 damage, that foe suffers from deep wound for 10...20 seconds. if this attack results in a critical hit target foe is knocked down. En:10 Rec:8s

Critical Blossom: Dual dagger Attack. Must follow an off-hand attack: Strike target foe for +20...40 damage and all adjacent foes take 20...40 damage. If this attack results in a critical hit, target foe is crippled for 3...13 seconds. Energy Cost:10 Recharge:6s

Omnislash strike: ELITE Multi dagger Attack. Must follow an off-hand attack.: If it hits, this attack strikes once for each dagger attack you have equiped, (maximum 4 hits) each hit deals +15...27 damage. Omnislash strike stops whenever you fail to hit. Energy Cost:15 Recharge: 15s

Uh critcal fangs would never be used cause there is twisted fangs...plus twisted does bleeding condition+deep wound. Only way I would use it is if... it couldn't be blocked or something.

Critical Blossom: Why not just give it a dagger status?

Last one seems interesting ...just can't put my finger on it.

critical fangs got higher damage and better recharge then twisting.

Skill1) Twisting fangs is used because it also adds bleeding. The recharge from 15 to 8 isnt great either.

To make more elite worthy do one of the following:

-Energy cost down to 5
-Adds Weakness / some cover condition.
-Unblockable.

skill2 ) Meh, Id occasionally use it.

skill3 ) Way OP. 5 hits in one dagger attack - ever think of the spike that would cause when combined with Conjure flame ? I could see the A/E's with a smite/bond monk maintaining SOH and Judges insight now.

*sin walks up to you
*( within 1 second ) -120 damage from unsuspecting strike, Deep wound from Golden fang.
*(Next 0.5 second) 90 damage from Omni, 90 damage from Omni, 90 damage from Omni, 90 damage from Omni, 90 damage from Omni.

yeah maybe critical fangs needs to aply another condition but thats all... being unblockable would make it overpowered IMO.
Omnislash might look overpowered but you can easy prot against it, a simple spirit bond, or any kind of blocking skill will make it stop.

Edit: Omnislash strike is not performed in 0.5s. The animation I have in mind is something like Death Blossom, that he jumps and starts slashing in the air. (but without the flip)

It would have to take at least 4 Seconds ( without speed buff ) To not be OP.
Even then it would still be slightly OP.

Things are not not OP just because their is a counter to them. Everything has a counter to it. The differance is when you have a skill that makes all other skills similar to its purpose obsolete, because it does their job better.

An elite melee skill that can potentially deal 450+ damage on its own would far outpweigh pretty much all other melee elites. It would also create a huge problem in the metagame since PS and SB are its only true counter, causing a "metagame freeze" Were builds stop being rotated since no one in their right mind would switch out the counter. It would lead to every 2/3 teams being nearly the same build.

You seem to be in another world talking about the metagame.
It's filled with anti melee skills (curses nec, BSurge Ele), blocking skills (DA Paragon, SoD Monk)...
And you also don't seem to know that when it says "this skill stops whenever you fail to hit" also means that if any hit gets blocked it will stop...

Shadow Prison assassin build does more then 450 damage, if you don't counter it you will get soloed to death, so yes, you take the counters into account.

Sometimes overpowered builds gets it's counters buffed to get a balance. I'll give you an easy example: Mass Hex Pressure. It's counters got buffed good (Reverse Hex,Deny Hexes,Remove Hex), even Cure Hex was created.

Again, your points about counters don't make Omnislash not overpowered.

Compare executioner's strike with eviscerate. Now compare Omni-slash with say... blades of steel. Vastly different degrees of power.

Shadow prison build is AN ENTIRE BAR. not a single skill.

Dear god you fail.

Failure to understand GW to that extent means you probobly never will, so im out. No point arguing with a brick wall.

Pointless to see this now as imo there will not be any new skills to GW1...

But i got one:
Critical Malice - elite offhand attack, must strike a foe suffering from a condition. If this attack hits it strikes for +20...40 damage, and if it is a critical hit, target foe suffers from one more random condition for 5...15 seconds.

*sigh* changed omnislash and critical fangs, maximum 4 atks, it's slightly more powerfull then blades of steel now,although Omni is elite.
BoS: 60x2 + 2x17
Omni:30x4 + 4.17

I think I understand how Anet feels now when it comes to nerfing things lol... (ZOMG neft Avatar of Grenth!!!.....NO I don't wanna counter it, just nerf it, NOW!!!)

Good lord! 'Sins won't be happy untill they get this skill:

Name: Assassin Wins
5 Energy, .25 Sec, 3 Sec Recharge
Player shadow steps to target location, regardless of where they are on the map, has an unblockable strike for 1,000. Each succesful use of this skill causes an immediate Guild Wars wide announcement about how "l337" you are at PvP.

Its basically a dagger version of Cloud's Limit Breaker in FF7.
